Thursday, December 15th Jared proposed. I am sure most of you guys have heard but, I want to tell everyone details about how it all went down :)
Jared had invited me on a Date night which, thankfully is nothing unusual. We get to downtown Raleigh and get out of our car to head to our restaurant. "We apparently didn't know where the restaurant was." So we ended up walking through a normal walkway and across the street. Jared even asked random ppl where it was. He totally had me fooled!!
So after dinner was done and delicious and we headed for the door. At this point nothing was different and in anyway or form unusual for us.
While we were walking back towards the car, we turned the corner which was right into the walkway and i notice rose petals all over the floor and candles lighted up on the outside of the walkway. I saw everything but, didn't thinking much about it.
It wasn't until Jared stopped me at the table with a gorgeous flower arrangement's and lanterns next to it, that I realized what was just about to happen. I started crying but, of course I am a daughter of Suzie Thomas, so i am sure that was expected. But Jared said some sweet words and got down on one knee.
The family was there on both sides and Jared even got our closet friends together to attend the event as well.
I loved how everyone was there to help with and help share the moment with us.
I was so overwhelmed with joy and tears and excitement. He did so well with the planning and ring.
I am so proud of him.
